Gaston All American Fair

Taking place the week before July 4th, this nine-day event has quickly established itself as one of the best ways to celebrate! Featuring live music, carnival rides, food vendors, and more, this fair has everything you need for a fun night out!

Held rain or shine, the schedule of events changes daily in order to create a unique experience every night. The fair concludes with the Salute to America Fireworks Show, one of the most highly anticipated fireworks displays in Charlotte!


Charlotte Symphony: Celebrate America

If you’re a fan of live music, the “Summer Pops” series put on by the Charlotte Symphony can’t be missed! Come out to Symphony Park at SouthPark Mall on Sunday, July 1st to hear a selection of patriotic tunes played by some of the best musicians in the state.

Bring your own picnic for the evening or enjoy a selection of concessions available. An all-ages friendly event, the performance ends with a bang— a fireworks display is included with your ticket.


USNWC‘s Fourth of July Celebration

One of the most unique celebrations, the US National Whitewater Center holds a two-day festival starting July 3rd. With activities ranging from live music to paddle board yoga, this one-of-a-kind experience should be at the top of your to-do list!

Choose between a one or two day all-inclusive package, complete with complimentary gourmet dinner and beverages. End your evening with fireworks above the largest man-made lake in North Carolina.


Firecracker Run

Going into its sixth year of operation, the Firecracker Run has become a popular way to start 4th of July celebrations! Featuring both timed races and “fun runs”, this event also offers various contests and events such as wheel barre and egg races.

Win great prizes while helping a great cause — Firecracker Run’s registration fee goes directly to Common Heart to help local food pantries.


Skyshow Charlotte

The largest Charlotte celebration, Skyshow Charlotte is an all-day event taking place on July 4th. This street fair kicks off at 2pm at BB&T Ballpark and offers an array of different entertainment opportunities for all ages. Go into the park to watch a game , or enjoy live music, food vendors and more!
